New Year, New Blog Posts

With the new year starting, I thought I'd try to get my blog up and running again. As it tends to happen, other life stuff demanded my attention and keeping my blog up to date took a back seat to everything else.

I've made some tweaks to these pages and as far as I'm concerned, everything is still under construction, so don't be surprised if you continue to notice small changes happening from day to day.  However, as part of my New Years Resolution, I will try to post new and interesting things regularly to keep my (very) small, but hopefully growing, blog-reading audience entertained.

Plane Struck by Lightning (WOW!)

The video shows lightning striking an Emirates Airline plane as it flew through a storm on April 23 on its way to Heathrow Airport. The plane landed without incident and none of the passengers were injured.

While the picture looks terrifying, experts said it's perfectly safe because planes are reportedly made to withstand lightning strikes.
